Innisfil Men Soccer Champions

On Sunday September 24th at Alliston's Nottawasaga Inn, the Innisfil Men's Open Age Competitive Team, competing in the York Region Senior Soccer League, Division 1, defeated Alliston United 1 - 0 in a well played, rain soaked Playoff Finals. Innisfil, a first year team in the Men's Division, and seeded 5th in the playoffs, defeated the 4th seed, Barrie Wanderers 2 - 1 (on penalty kicks), then bested the 1st seed, Schomberg Plus 2 - 1, before completing a remarkable playoff run against the 2nd seed Alliston.
