Only 28% of VBM kits returned

Innisfil Election Officials announced that as of Friday, November 3, 2006 over 7, 300 voters out of 26, 000 eligible electors have returned their voting kits.

We want to remind everyone who have received a duplicate voting kits to complete one and mark the additional kit as 'Duplicate' and return the kits to the Town Clerk.

By now all qualified electors should have received their voting kits. If you have not, contact Clerk's Services at (705) 436-3710 for information on how to get your kits. If you are not on the voters' list, you must complete the appropriate form (EL 15) which is available on the Town's webpage or in the Clerk's Office. Once these forms have been completed your voting kit will be issued.

There is still time to vote. You may drop off your voting kit any time this week to the Municipal Administration Building located at 2147 Innisfil Beach Road between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

An after-hours drop box is also available near the front entrance of the building.

On November 13, 2006 (Election Day) voting kits may be dropped off at the Churchill Community Centre located at 7883 Yonge Street from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

If you required further assistance contact Clerk's Services at (705) 436-3710.
