Polishing your denture for the holidays

In fact, she told me that they had never felt this polished, even when they were new! She came by the following week and told us how impressed she was. She was finally able to drink coffee with peace of mind, knowing that she could smile afterwards without having to give her dentures a quick brush immediately afterwards. It turns out the problem was that the dentures were full of tiny little scratches that were causing the coffee and other

stain causing foods to cling to the dentures. These types of scratches develop over time from the foods you eat, from just general handling or mostly by brushing with toothpaste rather than with denture paste or antibacterial hand soap. Using toothpaste can cause scratches to form much faster than they would otherwise develop. These micro-scratches not only harbour stains, but also are the prefect opportunity for plaque and bacteria to develop and breed. This bacteria not only causes bad breath but can also be harmful to your health.
