Hear Ye , Hear Ye!!!! Calling all Alcona businesses. Don’t miss out on being part of the New Alcona Business Association. Get involved while you still can. To make a difference in how our downtown, main street and community are shaped in the very near future. If you don’t get involved now while there is still time you may miss out on being able to put in your valuable input. Maybe your idea is the one we need to significantly impact the street, or the town council or even the developers who are buying up the town.

One great idea can change the world! Just imagine what our world would be without the paperclip. What if Tim didn’t like coffee??? Have you ever tried to put two pieces of paper together without a staple. Not easy!!! Simple things can make such a major impact on our lives. The new Alcona Business Association means business. We are going to make a difference!!!! We WILL make our town successful, a pleasure to visit, live here and especially do business here. Join in!! Get

involved. There is strength in numbers. Just ask the politicians that get elected. It was numbers that got them elected. Don’t be fooled. If you are not part of the solution then guess what? You are part of the problem!……….. Your ABA has been very busy of late. We have completed and passed our new Constitution. Our new logo has been completed and so has the new “Welcome to Alcona” sign on Innisfil Bch Rd at the 20th Side Rd. We hope that the time and money spent on this new image give you new pride. Please check out your new ABA web site on a regular basis. It is continually being upgraded to give you something worthwhile to refer to. Ask how your business’s web page can be linked to it. We are going to be hosting another of our “world famous dances” for Valentine’s Day! We also are going to stage the Town’s largest Yard Sale!! Stay tuned to the web for more info and how you can get in on the action and not miss out ! We have so many plans, but none more important than our involvement in

the Alcona Downtown Urban Design Guidelines process. The designers and consultants made an interim progress report to Council of what we have currently come up with. Once this process is finally complete, it will be vital to participate in lobbying for a completion date………… Our Christmas Dinner Meeting will be held this year Monday Dec. 18th.,at Innisfil Heights Marche by the 400 and Innisfil Beach Rd. It starts at 6p.m. with an all you can eat buffet for $14.99 per person. We will be electing two new directors so bring your better half, find out what we’re all about and have a great time…... On behalf of all of your ABA members and their families, we’d like to extend to you and yours the very warmest of Christmas wishes ! ………….We meet the third Monday of every month at Innisfil Height’s Marche, 6 p.m., if you want dinner, and the meeting starts at 7p.m. Our newly created website is….. www.aba-innisfil.com
