To The Editor,

The attached photograph shows Lion Jim Rocco presenting our $500.00 cheque to Guide Leader Ann Richardson for use in developing Camp Tewateno.

Camp Tewateno has been built, over 11 years, by the hard work and fundraising of the Girl Guides of Canada. This camp is situated just North of Barrie and covers several acres for trails and campcraft. It is open not only to Girl Guides but also to boys; has a Heritage Theme with 6 sites, Pioneer, Military,Huron Long House, Native Tepee, Adirondack Shanty and Covered Wagons.

Killarney Beach Lions welcomes new members to help in our fundraising projects; just call Mike @ 456-3607, or drop in to our meetings at the Grange Hall 1st & 3rd Friday each Month.

Mike Richardson.
