Tickets still available for Lake Aid concert

Now Lake lovers can enjoy great music, and help save Lake Simcoe at the same time

Barrie announce The Naked Truth LAKE AID Concert featuring Gino Vannelli and Matt Dusk to be held on August 19, 2006 at Heritage Park on the shores of downtown Barrie. The

LAKE AID Concert is a fun, rockin' and public way to draw attention to the challenges the perilously-ill Lake Simcoe faces and how they can help put it on a path to recovery. Tickets go on sale Friday July 14 at 10 a.m.

Lake lovers can enjoy listening to five-time Juno Award Winner Gino Vannelli, velvet-voiced Matt Dusk with his 'hot band', and help rescue Lake Simcoe at the same time. Two thousand people will gather to enjoy this starstudded event and celebrate Lake Simcoe.

"I am thrilled to be performing on the shores of Lake Simcoe, while helping to save it at the same time," says Gino Vannelli.

"The Ladies of the Lake are doing a tremendous job at raising awareness and inspiring action to save Lake Simcoe", comments Barrie Mayor Rob Hamilton.

Gates open for the event at open 2 pm, and the music starts at 4 pm. ALL of the proceeds fund the implementation of the Naked Truth Action Plan to Rescue Lake Simcoe.

Admission for the event is $50 plus GST; for VIP tickets, the price is $125 plus GST for (includes: waterfront table seating, access to the stars, refreshments served by the Ladies of the Lake and more!)
