THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF INNISFIL (Planning Act R.S.O 1990, c. P.13, s. 17(23), O.Reg. 198/96 TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Innisfil passed By-law No. 066-06 to adopt the Official Plan for the Town of Innisfil on the 26th day of July, 2006 under Section 17(22) of the Planning act, R.S.O. 1990 as amended. The land affected by the Official Plan is described as all lands within the boundaries of the Corporation of the Town of Innisfil. No Key Map is provided since the whole of the Town is included within the Official Plan. THE PURPOSE of the Official Plan, once approved and/or modified by the County of Simcoe is to provide a new updated Official Plan for the Town of Innisfil which reflects recent Provincial policies and legislative changes, improves policy protection of significant natural features and agricultural resources and provides strategic policy to respond to applications for change over the next 20 years. THE EFFECT of the Official Plan is to bring the Town's Official Plan into conformity with Provincial policies and to identify and protect significant features and resources, direct future growth, and provide a clear foundation for other planning tools such as zoning, within the Town of Innisfil. AND TAKE NOTICE that any person or public body will be entitled to receive Notice of the Decision of the Approval Authority if a written request to be notified of the decision is made to the Approval Authority.
