Check beach conditions

Do you want to check the water quality at the beach your travelling to before you set off?

Go to www.simcoemuskokahealth.org and it has a full list of Simcoe County beaches for which either advisories or closures have been issued.

Advisories are warnings to swimmers when counts rise to over 100 E.coli per 100 ml of water.

Closures are issued when there have been catastrophic events like sewage or chemical spills.

Lake Simcoe beaches are checked regularly. Currently, there is an advisory posted at Centennial Park.
