Cookstown Fall Fair this weekend

The 148th edition of the Cookstown Fall Fair will be held this Friday and Saturday.

Friday night kicks off with an old fashioned supper along with entertainment by "Southern Comfort." from 5 to 7 p.m. The opening ceremonies will begin at 7:30 p.m.

On Saturday the parade kicks things off at 10 a.m. There will be lots of event running all day that is sure to be highly entertaining, from 4-H shows to a medieval show and games, to the famous ice-cream eating competition.
