Mail in voting celebration

Hallelujah!

Wednesday night, council finally found their way into the new millennium!

I refer of course to the careful reversal of the recent decision to eliminate mail in voting. By a recorded vote, 6-2, sanity has been restored.

Now, the voters who are summer residents, and those who are not able to vote because of health problems, will be able to excercise their franchise. Thank you, council.

Special thanks to the deputy mayor, who changed her vote and is now in favour of mail in voting!
