Celebrating the wedding of Luedee-Reynolds
by Susan Stein

It was on a lovely fall day, Saturday, September 2nd, that Kelly Reynolds, daughter of Fred and Jean Reynolds of Cookstown and Scott Luedee, son of Kevin and Buelah Luedee of Alcona Beach, were united in marriage.

The traditional ceremony was held at Barrie Free Methodist Church with Pastor Clifford Fletcher officiating and music by a renown harpist.

Attending the bride were Maid of Honour Shannon Mulhall (bride's best friend), bridesmaids Cindy Luedee, Ashley Luedee (groom's sisters), Amber Babij and Crissy Hesch (couple's friends), looking gorgeous wearing purple gowns, accented,in pink and carrying pink flowers.

Flower girl Keaira Luedee (daughter of bride and groom) in a pink outfit, had the pleasure of being pulled in a wagon by Junior usher Jared Voisin, stealing the show.

Walking down the aisle with her dad, the bride was radiant in her floor length strapless, off-white organza over taffeta gown, a shoulder length veil held by a tiara and carrying a bouquet of pink roses.

Waiting at the sanctuary was her groom, attended by Best Man Derek Timbers (cousin of groom) and groomsmen Scott

Moore, Gary Drunia (groom's friends), Jamie Reynolds (bride's brother), Christopher Reynolds (no relation, groom's cousin) and Brad Elliot (groom's friend). All handsome in black tuxedos.

The reception for 175 guests was held at the South Shore Community Centre in Barrie. Family and friends attended from as far away as Powasson, Newfoundland, Harriston.

Congratulations to my little Kelly from Cookstown Central School and her handsome groom. Best wishes for your future, may the Good Lord bless you and your family.
