Cookstown & District Golf Tournament

The 8th Annual Golf Tournament by the Cookstown & District Chamber of Commerce was as usual a resounding success with wonderful weather, excellent turnout, played on the beautiful location of Harbourview Golf Club. A delicious meal concluded the event.

Two foursomes tied for the win: 1 Marvin Geist, Bruce Fischer, Arnie Warner, Lynn Dollin. 2 Tony DePede, Dorothy Holster, Dana Bowes, Martin Fischer.

The Sherri Halliday Trophy was won by Heather MacDonald, who had the longest drive (Ladies) and closest the pin.

The men's longest drive was won by Roger Dol of Dol Hydroseeding.

Proceeds from the Putting Contest

were donated to the Cookstown Play Group, accepted on their behalf by Brian Haas.
