The election race has begun

The deadline has passed, and the Town of Innisfil has 26 candidates vying for the positions of Mayor, Deputy Mayor, and seven seats at the council table.

On Thursday, October 19, there will be an all candidates meeting at Nantyr Shores Secondary School from 7:00 - 9:00 pm. Residents are encouraged to come out and meet the people who will be helping to make decisions for the town for the next four years.

The Scope is in the midst of interviewing all candidates, and starting next week, readers will be able to read a profile of each person running for office, along with a photo of each candidate. Note - incumbent marked with *.
