Seatbelt campaign runs through to Sunday

The South Simcoe Police Service are participating in the 2006 Fall Seatbelt Campaign which began Saturday September 23rd and runs until Sunday October 8th.
The objectives for the 2006 Fall Seat Belt Campaign are to increase Ontario's seat belt compliance rate that currently stands at just over 92 per cent. During the campaign, you can expect to see officers conducting spot-checks throughout the Towns of Innisfil and Bradford West Gwillimbury. Drivers caught not wearing their seatbelt can expect a $110 fine and a loss of two demerit points.
