Guinness Record Walk

To break the Guinness Record for having the most people walk the 1 Km, the Thornton Cookstown Trail Committee and Huronia Trails and Greenways were supporting the Ontario Trails Council in their effort by holding a walk on Saturday, September 30th, at the northern part of the trail, starting near the parking lot of Cookstown Antique Market.

Over 40 people registered with Petra Hewson at the helm and Mayor Brian Jackson and Councillor Lynn Dollin adding their walking to break he record.
