Christmas Concert by OPP Choir

The OPP Chorus will be presenting its Christmas concert at St. Peter's Anglican church, located at 6254 Yonge Street, Churchill, on Friday, November 24th beginning at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 each and may be purchased ahead by calling 705-456- 6731 or by purchasing a ticket at the door. 1998, by the current Musical Director, Mrs. Betty Wademan. Mrs. Wademan is an accomplished Music Director having obtained musical degrees in England from London's Royal College of Musicians. She has founded and directed several choirs. The OPP Chorus evolved within the Community Policing Development Centre of the OPP. Made up of current and

former civilian and uniformed OPP employees as well as volunteers from the community, the Chorus has performed at a variety of Community events within the Barrie and Orillia area. With the number of performances increasing so does the popularity of the Chorus. They were featured in the Winter 2000 edition of the OPP Review.
