CRIME OF THE WEEK

Crime Stoppers of Simcoe-Dufferin-Muskoka and the Barrie Police Service are requesting the assistance of the public in helping to solve an armed robbery at the Mac's milk store on Marcellous Dr. in Barrie.

On Oct. 13th, at 4:28 a.m. the store clerk observed an unknown male enter the store. The male was wearing a toque and a scarf over his face. The male brandished a knife and demanded the clerk put all the cash into a bag. As a result the male fled the store with a large quantity of cash and coins.

Barrie Police attended and conducted a search with their K9 unit without success. It appears that the male fled the store in the direction of Silver Maple Cres.

The suspect in this occurrence is described as male, white, 5'9" - 6' tall, with an average build, short hair, wearing a blue mechanic jumper, blue toque, green or grey scarf covering his face, black shiny boots and spoke with an Irish accent.
