Hockey season is here in Lefroy

Lefroy Atom #1

On Saturday October 14th, Lefroy Atom #1 started off their season with a home opener against NobleKing Atom #2. Final score 4-4. Lefroy goals were scored by Brendan Heenan, assisted by Brett Hunter and Austin Lacey. Julia Timbers and Nathan Parker scored the next two unassisted. Richard Esch netted the last one assisted by Zach Hellings. Great defensive play by Thomas Dunn and Mathew Nangle. Great offensive play by Joshua Holms. Solid goaltending by Sarah Wilson. Way to go Lefroy!

On Sunday October 15th Lefroy Atom #1 traveled to Schomberg to play the Schomberg #1 team. Despite a good effort put forth by all, the team would take their first loss of the season by a score of 7-1. The lone goal scored by the Lefroy team was scored by Nathan Parker assisted by Richard Esch.
