Municipal Election 2006 The deadline is this Friday, November 3rd for mailing in your Vote by Mail kit. Clerk Paul Landry said there is a drop off box available at the Town office next week, November 6th - 10th, in the front foyer. If you did not get your ballot in the mail on the deadline, residents are encouraged to drop off their kit at the office. On Municipal Election Day, November 13th, you can still drop off your kit at the Town Office between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm, and also at the Churchill Community Centre from 10 am until 8pm. The kit is comprised of two forms; a voter declaration form which includes voter instructions on the back, and the ballot form. The kit also contains two envelopes; a secrecy envelope to place your ballot in, and the yellow pre-paid return envelope. Do not forget to sign the voter declaration form. The signed declaration form ensures the voter is eligible to vote in the Innisfil election. Each ballot contains a bar code which is scanned upon tabulation. Each registered voter is assigned to a code to ensure each voter only votes once. |
