The Innisfil Historical Society presents their book Farms of Innisfil; Challenges, Chores and Changes

This timely account of the farms in Innisfil features the stories of over 250 farms, along with hundreds of pictures of farms and farm life. Farm-related businesses are included, along with activities that were/are important to the farming community.

You'll reading about the challenges of farming, the ongoing chores and the changes that the farming industry has experienced, as well as the rewards of farm life.

Who remembers the cream separator, the Beef Ring, 4-H Clubs, the Copaco, farming with horses, stone picking, school fairs, Jr. farmers, The family Herald, The Farmer's Advocate?

The book launch for the Farms of Innisfil will be taking place at the Churchill Community centre from 2:00 - 8:00 pm, with the official book unveiling ceremony at 2:30 pm. Alternate pick up dates for the book at the Knock House on Monday, December 11th and 18th, and Thursday, December 14th and 21st.

To receive a discount, pre-order your book now! If you order the book before November 20th, the cost is $35.00, after this date, it is $40.00. For books that need to be mailed, please add $12.00 per book.
