Come on out to Light Up Night

Dear editor,

The Cookstown and District Chamber of Commerce would like to invite all residents and visitors to come to the Village of Cookstown to celebrate the season in our Annual Light Up Night.

On Friday, November 10th, from 6-10 pm our Town Crier and many Roving Carolers will welcome you as the Tree Lighting Ceremony begins. A Parade featuring the Georgian Bay Steam Show will take place at 8:30pm.

The Merchants of Cookstown open their doors and share delicious treats, Christmas cheer and a visit from Santa Claus in front the Post Office from 6-8 pm! Please don't forget to bring your letters to Santa.

The Cookstown United Church is also celebrating Light Up Night with a Ham Supper from 5-7 pm. For dinner tickets call (705) 458- 9701.

Enjoy our hospitality and join in the festivities! It's the biggest night of the year!

Cookstown is located at the junction of Hwy 89 and Hwy 27, just three minutes west of Hwy 400.

For more information about Cookstown, contact Laurie at (705) 458-9212 or visit our new website www.cookstown.ca.

Looking forward to seeing you, Cindy Smith
