Good news from Good for Life

Good for Life, the healthy living partnership, sends its congratulations to Michelle Pauze and her children Samantha and Zachary Fortin, who won the grand prize $1000 gift certificate from Source for Sports in the Good for Life Active Family Challenge held during the summer. The family participated in the Active Family Challenge while camping en route to and from British Columbia this summer. The challenge involved keeping track of all of the things they did together including swimming, biking, hiking and other fun activities at a local park and other spots.

Over 350 families submitted ballots throughout Simcoe County with many winning great prizes such as basketball nets and free opportunities for local recreation activities.

A big thank you goes out to all of the organizations from more than a dozen communities that donated prizes and free opportunities for families to access their programs and facilities.

Good for Life is a partnership of area organizations and volunteers working together to promote and support communities to eat well, keep active and be smoke free in Simcoe County.
