SPCA Barrie appeals for help

The Place for Paws Grooming Studio is a proud supporter of the Ontario SPCA Barrie Branch. It is because of our support and commitment to this valuable charity that we write and appeal to you for help.

The Ontario SPCA Barrie Branch saw more than 3,000 animals come through the shelter doors last year alone. Each one of these lost, abandoned, abused, neglected or stray animals received vet care, food, shelter and the chance for a new life from the SPCA.

In recent months, the shelter has gone through some changes and the SPCA Barrie Branch's largest fundraiser was cancelled. The impact of this loss will be felt by all the animals and staff. It is for this reason that Thee Place for Paws is hosting a fundraising event for the shelter on Saturday, November 18, 2006 from 11am to 3pm.

Thee Place for Paws will be celebrating all the good work the SPCA does for our community with a day of fun - complete with raffles, pet portraits with Santa, goodies for your four legged family members and the SPCA mascot.
