South Simcoe Police Possession For The Purpose On November 28, shortly before 2:00 pm South Simcoe Police stopped a vehicle in the area of Commerce Park Drive in Innisfil after observing suspicious activity taking place. Two female occupants of the vehicle were subsequently arrested for Possession of Crack Cocaine. A quantity of cocaine was recovered from the vehicle along with other drug paraphernalia. Two Innisfil women, aged 49 and 44 are charged with Possession For The Purpose Of Trafficking and Possession of a Controlled Substance. One of the women who is already on outstanding charges is further charged with Breach of an Undertaking. Both women are held in custody pending a bail hearing. Theft under $5000.00, Possession of Stolen Property Under $5000.00, Fail to Comply and Breach of Conditions On Sunday December 3, the complainant contacted South Simcoe Police Service, to advise that one of her foster children returned home from a weekend visit from the victims residence with some beer. The accused had in his possession 3 bottles of Lucky beer 375ml. South Simcoe officers attended the Alcona residence and seized the alcohol. Investigating officers spoke to the victim who confirmed that there were 3 bottle of Lucky beer missing from their fridge. The accused had been visiting their home from Friday December 1, 2006 5pm - Sunday December 3, 2006 6pm. The accused a 15 year old Innisfil, youth was already before the courts on several related charges as a result the accused was held in custody pending a show cause hearing. The beer was seized by police as evidence. Mischief to Property Police are investigating vandalism to a vehicle that occurred on Monday November 4, in a church parking lot in the Town of Innisfil. The victim reported to police that she left her Honda Civic parking in the church lot from 7:20 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. while she attended a meeting. When she returned to her vehicle, she found her rear window had been smashed by a rock. Break and Enter Police are investigating a break in to a Bradford West Gwillimbury residence that occurred sometime overnight on November 25, 2006. The victim reported to police that his apartment was broken into, and a number of his possessions were smashed. The victim also indicated he had been receiving threats from his ex-girlfriend's son, who he also believed was responsible for the break in. Investigation is continuing, and police will be seeking a warrant for the arrest of a 20 year old Hamilton male for Uttering Threats. |
