Sat., Dec. 2-Thornton Tigers Novice 2 came out roaring to triumph over Schomberg 9-1. The team worked together and 2 players each had a hatrick. Behn Ware and Brian Escott had the hatricks with other goals scored by Gavin Bayley, Spencer Campbell and Dylan Scuccimarri. Assists to Matthew Pyz(4), D. Scuccimarri(2), Ayron Celli(2), Jason Eenhoorn(2), Aidan Didomenico, S. Campbell, B. Ware and B. Escott.

Thornton vs. Nobleking

Fri., Dec 1-Thornton Tigers Peewee 2 team shutout Nobleking 3-0. Goals scored by Sean Beckett, Jesse Provost and Brett Cyr.

Thornton Tigers Minor Midget Tournament

Sat., Nov 25-Thornton Tigers Minor Midgets hosted a tournament November 25 and took home the overall win. Games started early with Thornton taking on Barrie beating them 4-3. Barrie started the scoring but Thornton tied it up and took the lead. Goals by Alex Rutters, Ryan Drinkle, Jack Miller and Drew Shaw. Assists by Steve Smiek, Jeff Gillham, D. Shaw and R. Drinkle.

Thornton then took on Clarington for a shutout 3-0. Scoring didn't start until the second period with R. Drinkle scoring 2 goals then Tyler Allen

followed with a goal in the 3rd period. Assists by Adam Brazda(2), J. Miller and R. Drinkle.

In the championship game Thornton played Oakville in a tight game with Thornton winning 1-0. It was back and forth all through the game but the winning goal came with 37.5 seconds left in the game.

Scoring the final goal of the tournament was Joel Beare and assisting the goal was R. Drinkle and J. Miller.
