New Cookstown RBC Manager Glen Godovitz
by Susan Stein

(right - RBC Manager Glen Godovitz)
On Friday, December 15, I had the pleasure to meet Glen Godovitz - the new manager at the Royal Bank in Cookstown.

And what a pleasure it was to talk to him, to be informed about the bank's future, finances in general and know that the public will have in Glen a manager who will serve the clientele with knowledge in all aspects of banking, investing and will do so with honesty and integrity.

Glen brings to the Cookstown Branch 22 years of experience, starting his career with the Royal Bank in 1985. He was previously the Account Manager of Business and Personal in Collingwood, worked at the Head Office and Ontario Headquarters in Burlington, and managed a small business team in Barrie.

Glen feels that it is very important to establish a building relationship and trust with his clients, to give financial advice geared to a person's or family's needs and circumstances.

He is optimistic about the future of a bank in a small town, where the staff gets to know the clients, and they the friendly, helpful tellers.

Glen with wife Mary live in the Lisle area, are raising four children. Two at university, one attending high school in Tottenham, and one in elementary school in Alliston.

With his wife's farming background, Glen got to know a lot about the problems facing the farming community

Glen is eager to get to know members of the community, and its business owners.

Welcome to the Cookstown Royal Bank Glen, best wishes to you and your family and success in your career!
