Alcona Glen is currently holding a competition between classes to see which one can bring in the greatest amount of food or toy donations for those less fortunate. “The Alcona Express”, seen here with Joanne Downham’s grade three students, keeps growing everyday. “We are hoping to make someone’s Christmas a little brighter,” said Principal Kavanagh. On December 19th, the items get picked up and are brought to the Barrie Molsen Centre, where items will them be redistributed in and around our community.
