Here’s what’s going on at the Innisfil Public Library New Resource at the Library Innisfil Public Library now has a new resource containing millions of articles. Knowledge Ontario is a new resource that will be available to all library card holders. This database will be accessible 24/7 from your home or at any of the library’s branches. This resource enables users to access articles from many news papers, academic journals and magazines. It also contains health information and resources geared towards children. For more information, please ask one of the librarians. Special Events Lynn Rae will be at the Lakeshore Branch for a discussion on depression and biopolarism. The event costs $5 and will be held on Wednesday, January 20th, from 1:00 – 2:00 pm. High school student Nick Peterson will present a lecture on the looming energy crisis. There will be an opportunity for discussion after the presentation. Refreshments will be served. The lecture will take place on Saturday, January 13th at 1pm. Lakeshore’s featured artwork for the month of January is Robyn Ruffieux. She is a Churchill resident and paints using watercolour and acrylic.
