LSRCA welcomes new Board Chair

He thanked Board Coordinator Gina Casey and his wife Vicky, "two good people who looked after me", and Co-Chair Virginia Hackson, CAO Gayle Wood, whom he said was a pleasure and he was honoured to work with.

"I couldn't have asked for a better organization to work with," he said. Together we faced challenging issues and together we faced progress and advances."

East Gwillumbury Councillor Virginia Hackson was elected Chair of the lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority Board of Directors. Scugog Councillor Bobbie Drew was elected Co-Chair. The LSRCA Administrative Committee, compiled of the chair, vice chair and three members of the Board was elected on Friday. Innisfil Councillor Lynn Dollin, Eric Bull from the City of Barrie, and John Grant, Regional Councillor from the Township of Brock were elected to the committee.
