GICC 2007 Gala and Awards Night saluting local businesess

Dave Dobinson of Dave Dobinson Excavating Ltd. recieved the Service Business Award from Earl Feren and Heather MacDonald of PCU.

Tarpin Lumber recieved the award for Industrial/ Manufacturing. Colleen Gouldson joined Heather MacDonald in the presentation to Jordan and Nolin Pratt.

OLG Slots at Georgian Downs won the marketing and Promotions Award. Deputy Mayor Gord Wauchope presented the award to Wayne Allicock and Tina MacMillian.

The Community Award was a tie, and the winners were Heather MacDonald and Donna Orsatti. The award was presented by Graham Barber of Scotiabank Alcona.

Tarvo and Leila Puust recieved the New Business of the Year Award for the Innisfil denture Clinic. The award was presented by Liz Gordon of Pet Country Estate.

Pearson McCuaig recieved the Entrepreneur of the Year Award, for his business Pearson McCuaig Engineering Ltd. The award was presented by Dave Taylor of BDC to Jeff McCuaig and Gary Pearson.

The Business of the Year Award was awarded to Scotiabank Alcona manager Graham Barber.
