Cell phone tower should not be in backyard
      Dear editor, I am writing in response to the letter written by a Doug Barnett of Thornton regarding the Bell Mobility Cell Tower. I also received the same flyer that he refers to. Perhaps Mr. Barnett failed to understand or read the flyer correctly? No where did I read that anyone was opposing the installation of the tower.

11.8% tax increase appalling
      Dear Mayor Jackson, I am APPALLED to learn that the Town of Innisfil is considering imposing a municipal property tax increase of 11.8%! How can it justify any increase when the Town receives millions of dollars in "bonus" money from the slot machines at Georgian Downs?

Fix ruts on Innisfil Beach Road
      Dear editor, On January 27, 2007 I was on my way to Alcona to visit my aunt and uncle when I found myself involved in a life changing moment - I was in my first car accident. The accident took only seconds but the impact has and will last a lifetime. This letter is not intended to blame but to make those aware of the road conditions that contributed to this preventable accident.
