Dear editor, I am writing in response to the letter written by a Doug Barnett of Thornton regarding the Bell Mobility Cell Tower. I also received the same flyer that he refers to. Perhaps Mr. Barnett failed to understand or read the flyer correctly? No where did I read that anyone was opposing the installation of the tower. More ... Dear Mayor Jackson, I am APPALLED to learn that the Town of Innisfil is considering imposing a municipal property tax increase of 11.8%! How can it justify any increase when the Town receives millions of dollars in "bonus" money from the slot machines at Georgian Downs? More ...
