Honda hits milestone
      Honda Canada Manufacturing hit a milestone in April and it had nothing to do with production levels. For the first time in its history, the plant which has been aiming for 100% recycling sent nothing to landfill. Simcoe County's largest manufacturer has now found ways to recycle and reuse all its materials.

General meeting held for Tec We Gwill W.I.
      The Annual General Meeting was held on Monday, April 23d, at the Tec We Gwill Hall in Newton Robinson. The Roll Call was answered by giving the volunteer hours and paying the membership fee. The minutes of the last meeting and a newsletter from the Museum on the Boyne were read.

A giveaway and a donation from Bradley's Flowers
Time for a bear hug
      Bradley's Flowers, located in the Crossroads Plaza in Alcona, gave away two bears on the weekend. Frank Lovejoy (at left) entered a contest in which he won a big stuffed blue bear. He said the bear will be going to his young niece. (top photo) Florist Susan Bradley donated a big white fuzzy bear to Rina Spinks of RVH.

Killarney Beach Public School fundraising for new walking path
      A Roast beef dinner and silent and live auction will be held at the South Innisfil Community Centre (Lefroy Arena) - 1354 Killarney Beach Rd., from 6:00 - 11:00 pm on Saturday, June 9th. Tickets are $40.00 ea or $75.
