BWG looking for water to supply 'new' employment lands
      The Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury is at a crossroads, and is asking the Town of Innisfil for assistance. BWG Mayor Doug White went before council Wednesday night regarding the Environmental Assessment for Water Supply Works. Bradford is looking for water to service additional lands for commercial development in the area of Hwy. 400 and County Road 88.

      As summer holidays start, so does the need for blood when treating trauma patients August, 2007 - The time most Canadians have been waiting for - summer - has arrived. With summer, comes an increase in road, highway and waterway traffic, which can raise the number of traumas, where patients will need the support of blood and blood products to survive.

IMAC Show this weekend
      The Scale Aerobatic Nationals will be held at the RC400 club this weekend in Cookstown on the 5th Side Road, just south of Highway 89. The event that is scheduled for Aug 17, 18, and 19th 2007. Organizers are anticipating anywhere between 50-70 pilots.

Water ban continues in Thornton
      A ban on watering in the village of Thornton will continue despite last weekend's rain. Essa Township clerk Carol Trainor said that the rainfall on Sunday, which was around a half inch in some parts of the township had not made a significant improvement to the village's water reservoir.
