Innisfil Winterhawks Atom AE Silver Sticks

Innisfil Winterhawks Injection Depots Atom AE hockey team traveled to Alliston over the Christmas Holiday to play in the Silver Sticks Regional Qualifying Tournament. They had an amazing tournament, playing home town team TNT first to come out with a 7- 1 victory, the games MVP was NO#19 Jessie Tsikiris.

Then they played Caledon with grit and determination only to come up short with a 4-2 loss, the games MVP was NO# 16 Zach Morgan. The team regrouped and faced Brampton the next day with power and a winning out look to come up with a great game and a great win of 3-1, the games MVP was NO# 30 Ron Laird. There next game they faced off against Orillia and played with heart and won 6-1, the games MVP was NO# 10 Adam Spragg. The tournament structure was on a point system and unfortunately Innisfil came up 1/2 a point short from advancing to the finals. Coaches Sean Payne, Albert Collu, Chris Butcher, Corey Morgan and Jeff Columbus would like to express how proud they are of their teams accomplishments.
