Essa appoints Guergis to Nottawasaga Police Services Board

Essa council has appointed Leesa Turnball Guergis as its representative on the Nottawasaga Police Services Board

Guergis is the wife of township mayor Dave Guergis. He declared a conflict of interest when the resolution authorizing her appointment came to council last week.

Council passed the appointment without any discussion. Guergis will serve a four year term.
