New Year's Resolution for denture wearers
by Tarvo Puust DD Innisfil Denture Clinic

Each year my wife makes the same New Year's Resolution - no more procrastinating. But despite our best efforts, the house only gets a thorough cleaning when guests are coming the next day and the plants won't get watered until there are noticeable signs of wilting. I'm sure we can all think of at least one thing in life that we tend to procrastinate. Some leave Christmas shopping until a few days before Christmas and others still haven't put snow tires on their cars even though it's January. The same rings true for many denture wearers I come across on almost a daily basis. Some denture wearers don't mean to procrastinate, it's just that they do not realize when their dentures are past the point of fixing and are in dire need of replacing. There is a gray area as to when dentures should be replaced. Whereas if the engine in your car finally goes it's last mile, you have no choice but to replace the engine that day, or you have no car to drive. Some people know that they need to replace their dentures, however, cost often becomes an issue with some patients. What many do not realize is that their previous denture has gone it's last mile and it's time to replace it. The cost is very reasonable considering that your new dentures would last about 5-10 years. This would mean a cost of only $0.27-0.55/day or about $15/month. Patient financing is also available to finance dentures over the course of a year or even as long as 5 years. Make the best resolution you can this year, and treat yourself to about $0.50 a day to replace your worn dentures.

They have served its purpose for many years and it's time to make the right decision for your health and well being this New Year. Make your resolution to replace that old denture that has gone its last mile. You deserve a new smile this year.
