Innocent until proven guilty

Dear editor,

I just read the latest news on the swan incident and I can no longer sit back and read these stories about this individual who allegedly attacked the swan on Lake Simcoe. I'm wondering with all your information you are feeding the people of Innisfil did anyone even think to talk to the individual who has been charged. I happen to know this person and I have heard the story first hand. This person never came in contact with the swan at any time the only thing they are guilty of is circling the swan with there boat in amazement at what they were looking at. Someone from shore had seen this as an attack. I am quite certain that this could have happened to anyone of us. So on behalf of the innocent until proven guilty please stop bashing this person until the final results are in.
