Hit and run in Essa Township

Essa Twp. - On Jan. 12th around 8:20 p.m. a resident on McKinnon Road in Essa contacted Nottawasaga OPP to report that the vehicle of a friend parked out front of the residence was just struck by another motor vehicle that fled the scene.

The vehicle that was struck was a gray two tone pick up truck and the suspect vehicle was described as a mid 90's Red Plymouth Voyager Passenger van that should have right front damage to it from striking the pick up truck.

Police patrolled the area but the suspect vehicle has not yet been located. Unfortunately a licence plate nor a driver description could be obtained by the witnesses
