The Thornton Lions Club presented a cheque to Simcoe Muskoka Cancer Care Centre in the amount of $1,000; the first in a pledge of $5,000 by the Thornton Lions Club. This money has been raised by holding fund raising community spaghetti suppers and pancake breakfasts. The next one is a Good Friday Pancake Breakfast on April 6 from 7:30 until 11:00 am.
