Winterhawks Injection Depot Atom AE breeze through playoffs

Innisfil Winter Hawks Injection Depot Atom AE team started their first round of playoffs against the Stouffville Clippers.

Game 1 was played with home ice advantage to Innisfil and they won 3-0 with an amazing shutout effort by Ron Laird. Innisfils goals were scored by Brandon Chalkin, Zach Morgan, and Adam Spragg. Great defense by Stuart Manson, Caitlin Beauvais, and Kaleb Gray on the blueline.

Game 2 was a tough loss with Stouffville coming out ahead 3-2. Innisfils goals were scored by Adam Spragg with 2.

With strong forward effort by Aaron Shedlosky, Justin McKinnon and Evan DiDiminico there was just not enough time to come back with a win.

Game 3 Innisfil came out charging and took the lead and held on for a 2-1 win at home. Innisfils goals were scored by Jesse Tsikiris and Adam Spragg. With another strong showing by defensemen Matthew Collu, Tanner Young and Joshua Columbus, Innisfil leads the series 2 games to 1.

Game 4 Innisfil traveled to Stouffville and finished off the series with a 2-0 game.

Mason Payne was amazing between the pipes for another shutout for Innisfil.

Goals scored by Josh Columbus and Matthew Collu with his first goal of the season with a blast from the point. Solid front line efforts by Walker Curtis and Damian Butcher to help the WinterHawks win the series.
