Home Sweet Home
Pratt Homes held a grand opening in one of their model homes, The Seahawk, on Tuesday night. The completed and furnished model home featured a dinning room, kitchen, great room with a gas fireplace, laundry and bathroom on the first level, and three bedrooms on the top floor. The master bedroom included a walk in closet, a sitting area, and an ensuite bathroom with Jacuzzi tub. The bottom floor included a fireplace and is the perfect location for a fourth bedroom if needed.

"This is the first time Pratt Homes has expanded into a new community," said Karen Hansen (nee Pratt), referring to the fact previous Pratt developments have occurred in Barrie. "We are happy to be here, everyone in Innisfil has done so much for us."

Mayor Brian Jackson commented about the new development.

"I comment has to be made about Don Pratt," he said. "He came down to see what Innisfil was like and seized a tremendous opportunity."

Pratt Homes has been building homes in Barrie since the 1970's. One of the largest home builders in the greater Barrie area, Pratt Homes comprises its sales team of people with 40 years of combined experience in the business. Pratt Homes became a registered builder with the Ontario New Home Warranty (Tarion) since its inception in 1977.
