Barrie man injuried in 9th Line collision On Friday the 2nd of February 2007, at approx. 7:50 a.m., the South Simcoe Police were called to a serious motor vehicle collision on the 10th Side Road just south of the 9th Line of Innisfil. Investigation revealed that a 2006 Dodge Caravan was southbound on the the 10th Side Road and for unknown reason veered into the northbound lanes and then continued eastward entering a ditch and striking a parked vehicle which was in a private residential driveway unoccupied. The driver was a 51 year old man from Barrie. He was seriously injured as a result of this collision. He was transported to Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie for treatment of his injuries. The Traffic Unit was called to investigate and the road way was closed for approximately three hours for photographic and recontruction purposes. The investigation is continuing...... |
