Police search warrant finds another drug family affair

Essa Twp. - On Thursday around 7 p.m. ,members of the Huronia Combined Drug Force and Nottawasaga OPP executed a Controlled Drug and Substance Act Search Warrant at a residence on Margaret St. in Angus.

Officers seized over 2 ounces of cocaine, 1/4 lb of marijuana, a quantity of oxycodone pills and cannabis resin and $1500 in cash.

Arrested were a mother / son team of Karen Partridge 54 years old and Brian Partridge 24 years old of that address on Margaret St., and an associate of theirs 50 year old Rick Montgomery of Alliston.

All three were charged with Possession of Cocaine, Marijuana and Oxycodone -all for the purpose of trafficking. They were also charged with Possession of Cannabis Resin.

Montgomery was released and is to appear in court in March in Bradford but the Partridge family in still in custody awaiting bail.
