Innisfil Winter Hawks Injection Depots Atom AE team advances to the quarter finals of the OMHA with a series win over the first place team Aurora Tigers.

Wed. Jan 31 GAME 1 Aurora came out hard after having a by into the 2nd round with a 4-2 win over Innisfil Winter Hawks. Innisfil played hard with great forward efforts by Evan DiDiminico, Zach Morgan and Justin McKinnon. Innisfils goals scored by Stuart Manson and Adam Spragg.

Sat. Feb 3 GAME 2 Innisfil Winter Hawks Injection Depot came to play and tied up the series with a great 3-2 win. Strong solid defense by Kaleb Gray, Matthew Collu and Caitlin Beauvais help goalie Mason Payne stand tall between the pipes. Innisfils goals scored by Jesse Tsikiris with 2 and Adam Spragg. Goals assisted by Steward Manson with a pair.

Tues. Feb 6 GAME 3 Both teams wanted a win to take the lead in the series, but with great play by both Aurora and Innisfil after 10 minutes of overtime the score was still tied at 3-3. Ron Laird kept Innisfil in the game with strong goaltending. Each team takes home a point and on to the next game. Hard solid effort by Justin McKinnon, Damian Butcher and Aaron Shedlosky. Innisfils goals scored by Stuart Manson and Adam Spragg with 2.

Wed. Feb 7 GAME 4 Innisfil Winter Hawks Injection Depot tried very hard all game long to come home with a win. Aurora takes the lead in the series with a 2-1 win over Innisfil. Strong skating and tough play by Tanner Young, Aaron Shedlosky, Joshua Columbus and Walker Curtis keep Innisfil in the game until the end. Innisfils only goal scored by Stuart Manson, assisted by Zach Morgan and Jesse Tsikiris.

Sat. Feb 10 GAME 5 With fire in his eyes Ron Laird played an amazing game to shut out the first place team and pulled off a great 2-0 win. With solid defense by Tanner Young and great forward efforts by Damian Butcher Innisfil took it to Aurora in a do or die game.

Both Innisfils goals scored by Jesse Tsikiris and assisted by Matthew Collu and great effort by Joshua Columbus.

Sun Feb 11 GAME 6 WOW!! What an amazing game by both Aurora and Innisfil Winter Hawks Injection Depot. With the series tied up the game was a do or die for both teams. Mason Payne played another outstanding game in goal to keep it close.

Entering into double overtime with the scored tied at 1-1, Innisfil played with heart and determination to come out ahead with an amazing goal by Walker Curtis with the assist going to the entire team. Innsifils goals scored by Zach Morgan and Over Time Goal Walker Curtis.

Innisfil advances to the quarter finals of the OMHA's to start a series soon against Newmarket.
