Barrie man found beaten

The investigation into a 31-year-old Barrie male found by a Simcoe County snowplow driver continues. The investigation has determined the male's injuries are not as a result of being struck by the snowplow.

The Barrie OPP Crime Unit under the direction of OPP Criminal Investigation Branch Detective Inspector Bernie Murphy are continuing the Investigation along with assistance from Barrie Police Services.

The injured male remains in critical condition at Sunnybrook hospital in Toronto.

The Barrie OPP is requesting the public's assistance from anyone that may have been travelling in the Ridge road area between midnight and 5:45 a.m. Friday.
