Essa begins budget process this week

Essa township begins work on its 2007 budget today (Wednesday) at noon.

Township councillors are planning to meet at noon to have a first look at the draft budget. They plan to meet for four hours.

Council is looking at three percent increase in wages for staff and councillors.

Councillors plan to hold a second budget meeting on April 4 at noon.
