Innisfil WinterHawks Atom AE Injection Depots London March Break Tournament

Innisfil WinterHawks Atom AE Injection Depots team traveled to London this past March Break to participate in the Thunder Classic Tournament, taking home the 2nd place trophy. Game 1 Innisfil faced Port Perry and came out ahead with a 4-2 win.

Innisfil's goals were scored by Adam Spragg, Jesse Tsikaris, and Zach Morgan with a pair. Assists went to Josh Columbus, Kaleb Gray Aaron Shedlosky and Jesse Tsikaris (2). Mason Payne play great in net for Innisfil and Evan DiDiminico and Damian Butcher made some great plays to help Innisfil take home the win.

Game 2 saw Innisfil face off against Bradford for a 2- 1 loss. Innisfils only goal was scored by Zach Morgan and assisted by Evan DiDiminico and Caitlin Beauvais. Ron Laird had a great game against a strong A team facing a ton of shots and kept the game close for Innisfil.

Strong defense by Tanner Young, Matthew Collu and Stuart Manson, great work on the blue line.

Game 3 Innisfil faced a very tough A team from St.Thomas, and Mason Payne came up with a shout out for Innisfil winning it 2- 0.

Goals scored by Adam Spragg and Jesse Tsikaris with assists going to Stuart Manson (2), Matthew Collu, Aaron Shedlosky, Jesse Tsikaris, Evan DiDiminico. It was another total team effort with Innisfil playing their hearts out.

The Semi-Final game was against a home town team London with Innisfil playing great and taking the win with a 3-2 victory in Overtime. Goals scored by Jesse Tsikaris, Stuart Manson and Zack Morgan in over time. Ron Laird was very strong in net facing a ton of shots and securing Innisfils advancement into the Finals.

The finals was against another home town team North London. It was a great final game with Innisfil having 2 goals disallowed, changing the momentum of the game and giving North London the win 3-1.

Innisfils goal scored by Jesse Tsikaris and assisted by Stuart Manson and Adam Spragg. Hard skating by Joshua Columbus, Kaleb Gray and Tanner Young kept Innisfil in the game against a very strong A team.
