      Congratulations to the Monto Reno Marina Major Novice "A" Winterhawks for winning the York- Simcoe championship. After a 28-0 season, the Winterhawks went on to the OMHA playdowns. With a bye in the first round, the Hawks met up with Bradford in the elimination round.

      The Kuzmich Memorial Hockey Tournament hosted by the Friends of South Simcoe Police was held last weekend at the Lefroy Community Centre in Innisfil. There were 18 Hockey teams competiting at this event.
