Five males from Cookstown area warned about replicas

Alliston - Last Wednesdy at approximately 3 p.m. officers from Nottawasaga OPP were dispatched to Yonge St. in Alliston in a restaurant parking lot at the west end, where several adults were reported to be displaying what appeared to be handguns and a shotgun from inside their parked vehicles.

Officers attended the location and arrested five males at gunpoint.

The weapons were seized and found to be air soft sport replica firearms. The males were warned and served with trespass to property notices for that location and released unconditionally regarding the initial incident.

The five males were from the Cookstown and surrounding area.
