Update on Canal Road fatality

On Sunday the 1st of April 2007, a 45 year old man that was killed as a result of his motor vehicle entering the Holland Canal in Bradford West Gwillibury.

The deceased man was positively identified by family members on April 4, 2007.

He was a resident of Toronto and 45 years of age.

The coroner has indicated there was no foul play. The victims cause of death and name are not being released at this time pending further investigation.

The investigation is continuing by members of the Traffic & Marine Unit of the South Simcoe Police in conjunction with the Office of the Chief Coroner.
